Karate can improve a student’s physical and mental health as well as helping them improve their academic performance by raising their level of energy, confidence, focus, and self-control. Every time a student learns a new technique, their self-confidence will increase. The lessons will focus on teaching the students self-defense and will be reminded throughout the lessons to be courteous and respectful towards others and themselves. Our instructor expects the students understand their own ability better through learning karate and that the students will aspire to raise their own expectation of themselves and set up goals to obtain higher belts.
As women take on more important roles in society, they may need to stay out later at night and because Asian women typically have smaller physiques, they often become targets of robbery. Our experienced instructor will focus on training the improvement of the student’s speed, strength, and accuracy of kicks. The students are expected to achieve a professional sportsmanship standard in class and to increase self-defense awareness.
